Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The UK College is committed to providing a programme of CPD training opportunities which are open to all teachers of mindfulness.

Mindfulness teachers and are required to maintain their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in order to uphold their professional insurance and the professional learning standards set by the UK College along with meeting the requirements of the MTA ‘Mindfulness Teachers Assocation’ and register.

The yearly requirements currently, are to maintain a minimum of:

  • 12 hours/two days of CPD plus
  • One Retreat Day and
  • Between 2 and 6 supervision sessions during each twelve month period. (The frequency with which you require supervision depends on the amount of mindfulness work you are currently undertaking.)

Unless otherwise stated all our CPD courses are run live and interactive via zoom and the attendance fee for all CPD is £130 for students and graduates of Mindfulness Now / UK College of Mindfulness Meditation, and £160 to all others. All courses are certified and training notes are provided. Upon completion of the CPD training , you will receive your certificate of participation.

Please note – all payments for CPD events are non refundable. It might be possible to transfer your place to the next time the CPD event is being run but as a minimum you must have provided at least 14 days notice before the event after which point you lose the right to a transfer. Sorry for any inconvenience.

All our courses are open to practitioners of mindfulness teaching, hypnotherapy, NLP, coaching, counselling, and related fields. Numbers are strictly limited.

The Learning Pathway - TLP

TLP is offered, once a year only, to a very limited number of graduates and includes a certification qualifying graduates to train others to teach.
The Learning Pathway (TLP) is an entirely optional developmental route for any mindfulness teacher who have already qualified on the teacher training programme. TLP is offered, once a year only, to a very limited number of graduates. Like the initial teacher training, the pathway is mainly experiential in nature providing the full Mindfulness Now 8 weeks programme, as well as extended, supervised training practice. It includes a ‘Train the Trainer’ certification, qualifying graduates to train others to teach mindfulness.
