Mindfulness Teacher Training

Train to Teach Mindfulness

Research has shown that mindfulness meditation offers powerful health and wellbeing benefits meaning qualified teachers can be in high demand. Train to teach mindfulness and share these benefits with others, professionally and responsibly, teaching 1-to-1, as well as in groups and within organisations.

This certified teacher training is approved by The British Psychological Society and includes specialist tuition in mindfulness approaches, including the Mindfulness Now Programme which integrates key elements of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Both are evidence based and the latter is recommended by NICE.

How you can train and qualify with us?

  2. Gain experience of a meditation practice – start meditating on a daily basis if you’re not already doing that.

  4. Follow the ongoing structured pathway, including submission of assignments and case study work.

  5. Successful assessment leads to your qualification and certification

The Mindfulness Now accredited teaching qualification can lead to a rewarding career teaching mindfulness to both adults and children, one-to one, or in groups following the structured eight week programme taught course or the optional non-formal flexible course.

Mindfulness Now graduates work in many diverse environments including the NHS (including mental health), schools teaching children of all ages and further education, learning disabilities, hospice movement, charities, as well as in complementary health.

Many mindfulness teachers are self-employed. Some are offered employment in schools teaching children though our partnership with NeuroHeadway. Additionally, many of our teachers also provide mindfulness programmes within organisations. Therefore, as part of the training, all students receive instruction on practice building and developing corporate work opportunities. Graduates are eligible to obtain professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

The Mindfulness Now Programme offers the latest in modern scientific approaches to teaching mindfulness, including some of the latest research into neuroplasticity, proudly leading the way in delivering trauma informed mindfulness and is constantly evolving and moving forward to meet the ever changing needs of society.
