UK College of Mindfulness Meditation – York Training Venue

Heslington Hall is a spectacular Grade II listed building at the heart of York University. The house contains stunning original features, including the pendant stucco ceiling over the great hall, some of the courtyard face and the staircase towers at the rear. The tranquil gardens were first formally landscaped in the early 18th century, including the gazebo and yews that now comprise The Quiet Place.

The space has great facilities, including a choice of restaurants and cafes and free wifi.

The course is a practical experience delivered through live tuition, with qualified experienced teachers, slides, video’s and group discussion with plenty of teaching practice.

Location

Heslington Hall

Heslington Hall is a Grade II* listed building near Heslington village. It was constructed as a country house in 1568 and was rebuilt in both the 19th and 20th centuries. The Hall’s residents have included the Deramore baronry, the Royal Air Force and now the University of York.

How to get to Heslington Hall

Cars and Parking: 

The University is easily accessible from major road links such as the A64 or 1079.

Trains and Taxis: 

There is a frequent, fast train service to York on the East Coast Main Line from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh. There is also a direct service between York, Leeds and Manchester Airport.

The University is a short bus (66) or taxi ride direct from the railway station. There is a bus stop and taxi rank just outside the main station entrance. A taxi from the railway station will take approximately 15 minutes while a bus will take around 22 minutes. 

The university’s approved taxi provider is Streamline Taxis.

Cycling and Walking
