Mindfulness for Menopause

This CPD training day invites mindfulness teachers to explore how mindfulness can support people through the natural transition of perimenopause and menopause. The day offers a compassionate and inclusive space to deepen understanding of how hormonal changes can affect body, mind, mood, and the sense of self — and how mindfulness practices can help bring steadiness, kindness, and connection during this stage of life.

Through guided practice, reflection, and open discussion, we’ll explore how familiar mindfulness approaches — such as breath awareness, body-scan, movement, and self-compassion — can be adapted with sensitivity for those experiencing menopausal changes. The training includes practical teaching ideas, group sharing, and gentle inquiry into language and inclusivity, recognising that menopause is experienced in many different ways.

We’ll also explore the idea of ‘The Second Spring’ — an ancient concept that sees menopause not as an ending, but as a time of renewal, wisdom, and possibility. This perspective offers a fresh, empowering lens through which to meet change, inviting curiosity and appreciation for new ways of being.

Supportive, down-to-earth, and heart-centred, this training helps mindfulness teachers to help themselves, and their participants, meet this important life stage with curiosity, warmth, and care.
