An intensive five day course leading to an accredited Compassion Focused Wellbeing Teacher Training qualification accredited and certified by the NRPC (National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors) and the MTA (Mindfulness Teachers Association). Becoming a Compassion Focused Wellbeing (CFW) Accredited Teacher

This interactive five-day course includes the latest developments and research into effective learning CFT compassion focused therapy, Mindful Self Compassion MSC linking this with Mindfulness Now which offers fusion of both MBSR and MBCT.  The style of training is to present ideas, followed by demonstrations, then questions, and then where appropriate, role play exercises and further discussion.

 Teacher training includes the unique Compassion Focused Wellbeing  programme which offers an integrated approach to using compassion based techniques to help participants deal with serious physical and emotional pain and trauma, as well as building emotional resilience. After completion of the course, successful graduates are offered the opportunity to join the network of Compassion Focused Wellbeing licensed and accredited teachers.

The CFW Programme was created by Nick Cooke and Madeleine Agnew as a way to support mindfulness participants/clients to develop a kinder more compassionate attitude towards themselves.  The new CFW programme is a development and adaption from the now well establised Mindfulness Now Programme  that includes an emphasis on building compassion for self and others. Over the last 10 years Nick and Madeleine have been slowly creating their new programme which integrates both mindfulness and compassion into a highly adaptable and flexible course.
